I had installed Debian Lenny onto a usb drive while on a desktop computer. As such the setting is very much for a desktop environment.
When I plug this usb drive on a laptop and boot into Debian Lenny, noticed that it treat my laptop as a desktop.
A look in apt shows that there is an app called "laptop-detect" which should be able to help the system detects the laptop setting.
However, I've googled quite a bit and still unable to find out how to use this command.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
